The Tactico game design was originally conceived by Mark O'Callaghan whilst working at Wembley Stadium as it was being built. Wembley as we all know suffered massive delays during it's construction and in order to pass the time Mark would often think long and hard about football, what he loved about it and how he could take it home to play with friends and family. The result of his brain-wave was Tactico.

There then followed several years of designing, testing and manufacturing that he conducted in tandem with his business partner James Devlin.

The game went through dozens of different formats and refinements until the final balance of luck and tactics was arrived at. MOC Games was then formed to take the game into full production. Experienced game manufacturers were found in the USA and China to deliver the metal, plastic and laminate parts needed to ensure a quality product.

Finally in late 2010, Tactico - Football Edition arrived on Irish and British shores from Honk Kong.
